These three rules should be applied to write the stroke dot 点
1. When the dot is on the left top or directly on the top of a character, it should be written first
Examples:
The stroke point is on the left top: 斗, 头, 为, 门, etc
The stroke point is directly on the top: 文, 方, 义, 市, 亩, 言, etc
2. When the dot is on the right top, it should be written lastly
Examples:
我, 求, 犬, 成, 式, 栽, 裁, 弋, 戈, etc
3. When the dot is inside a character, it is also written lastly, but this rule is not absolute
Examples:
凡, 瓦, 叉, 卵, 母, etc
The rule number 3 is not absolute, there are exceptions: 丹, 夜, 柬, etc.
